Hans Korsuize was born in Lisse as the eldest son to the artist Pieter Korsuize. He was raised in a creative and artistic family.
In his early years as an artist, he worked
with many painters which helped him gain new insights and taught him new techniques.
In the past 15 years Hans has been working together with Ben Vernimmen to experiment
on the canvas and find possibilities other than simply registering the visible
and to find the essence through shapes, use of colours, expression and composition.
This is reflected in the use of bright colours and strong shapes in his paintings.
